Multivariate Curve Resolution: 50 years addressing the mixture analysis problem – A review

چکیده
Multivariate Curve Resolution (MCR) covers a wide span of algorithms designed to tackle the mixture analysis problem by expressing original data through bilinear model pure component meaningful contributions. Since seminal work Lawton and Sylvestre in 1971, MCR methods are dynamically evolving adapt wealth diverse demanding scientific scenarios. To do so, essential concepts, such as basic constraints, have been revisited new modeling tasks, mathematical properties domain-specific information incorporated; initial underlying has evolved into flexible framework where hybrid bilinear/multilinear models can coexist, regular structures undergone turn screw incomplete multisets matrix tensor combinations be now analyzed. Back fundamentals, theoretical core methodology is deeply understood due thorough studies about ambiguity phenomenon. The adaptation method analytical measurements domains continuous.
